Sienna Serving Bowl | Handmade Ceramic — Stoneware Ceramic Collection by Lair Living

Smooth within, raw without.

A round bowl with a deliberately rough, unglazed exterior against a smooth glazed interior — the textural contrast is the whole appeal, and it is the most tactile piece in the collection. At 18 cm across and 6.5 cm deep it works for salad, fruit or a shared side. The deep red-earth tone reads warm under evening light.

Part of the Stoneware Ceramic Collection by Lair Living

The Stoneware Ceramic Collection is Lair Living's handmade ceramic tableware range, made by artisans across India using the same slow, hand-thrown methods that Indian pottery has relied on for generations. High firing gives stoneware its density, its heat retention and its chip resistance — the qualities that let a piece survive daily use rather than occasional display. Because each glaze reacts differently in the kiln, small variations in tone and form are expected, and they are precisely what separates a handmade table from a factory-made one.
