Bloomfield Serving Bowl | Handmade Ceramic — Stoneware Ceramic Collection by Lair Living

The floral serving bowl — the centrepiece of the hand-painted range.

Hand-painted florals scaled up to serving size, where the brushwork has room to be seen. At 18 cm across and 7.5 cm deep it holds a shared dish without dominating the table. This is the piece that gets complimented, and the one most often bought as a gift.

Why You'll Love It

About the Stoneware Ceramic Collection by Lair Living

This piece belongs to the Stoneware Ceramic Collection — Lair Living's range of handmade ceramic tableware, thrown and glazed by hand by skilled Indian artisans. Every piece is high-fired to stoneware density, which is what gives it the weight in the hand and the resistance to chipping that thinner ceramics never manage. No two glazes finish identically, so the collection is meant to be collected rather than bought all at once: a plate here, a bowl there, until the table looks gathered instead of matched. Handmade in India, and built to be used every day rather than kept behind glass.
